KITTIE Films 'Funeral For Yesterday' Video In New York
February 8, 2007Canadian all-girl metal band KITTIE has issued the following update:
"This past Monday (February 5) we shot the video for our first single 'Funeral for Yesterday' in Long Island [New York] and I must say, I think it's going to turn out great. Besides it being probably one of the coldest days I can remember in years and the location not really having heat at all, it was a lot of fun. The location was perfect for the mood of the song and I think you all will enjoy the video.
"Today we are also leaving for the 'Funeral for Yesterday' tour. We are honestly so excited and can't wait to see all your smiling faces at the shows."
KITTIE's new album, "Funeral for Yesterday", is scheduled for release on February 20 via KITTIE's record label, X of Infamy. A trailer for the DVD that will be available as a companion disc with "Funeral for Yesterday" has been posted online at YouTube.com.
KITTIE's new CD was recorded at Retromedia Studio in Red Bank, New Jersey with producer Jack Ponti, who has previously worked with BON JOVI, SKID ROW, and ALICE COOPER. Other songtitles set to appear on the new album include "Never Again", "The Change", "Breathe", "Last Goodbye", and "Slow Motion". The band recently finished mixing the effort with producer Kevin Shirley (IRON MAIDEN, DREAM THEATER).
